SHENEE AIKEN
She served as a critical liaison between portfolio managers.
Shenee Aiken is the Executive Director and Founder of Sharing Your Shares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to unlocking financial assets and promoting financial
literacy for nonprofits and the communities they serve.
Her mission: to help organizations scale their impact by leveraging the financial markets as tools for wellness, sustainability, and growth.
With nearly 25 years of experience as an Allocator at Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co., where she arranged and administered a multibillion-dollar portfolio, Shenee developed deep expertise in financial operations
and strategy.
She served as a critical liaison between portfolio managers, traders, and over 2,000 clients—overseeing stock allocations, margin management, charitable donations, asset transfers, and high-level client relations. These responsibilities sharpened her ability to manage complex financial strategies and deliver
long-term value.
Over time, Shenee witnessed a troubling gap: while financial tools and advantages flowed freely within investor circles, many nonprofits remained unaware of the power of stock donations and the broader market’s potential to transform their funding strategies. Determined to close this gap, she launched Sharing Your Shares to bring decades of institutional knowledge to mission-driven organizations in need of sustainable solutions.
Today, she leads with a practical, real-world approach rooted in her Brooklyn grit and Wall Street experience. Shenee empowers nonprofits to embrace financial tools, unlock untapped resources, and fund their futures with confidence. Her goal is to change the narrative—making financial empowerment a new standard across the social impact sector.
